Tn7::In2-8 contains sat2-aadB-catB2(
attC)-dfrA1-sat2-aadA1-orfX in the variable region of a class 2 integron embedded in the Tn7-like transposon. This novel transposon was inserted in its preferred site downstream of the glms gene in Acinetobacter baumannii. Acquisition of the pseudocassette catB2 could have arisen by a secondary-site integrase-mediated intermolecular recombination event.
