FIG. 1.   Inactivation of CRPV by SDS. Aliquots of CRPV (10¹ dilution) were mixed with concentrated SDS to a final concentration of 0.05% as described in Materials and Methods. Untreated virus () or treated virus () was inoculated at two sites each per animal, and papilloma production was measured as the GMD of visible lesions on the indicated days. Data represent the average GMD for six lesions resulting from treated virus or from untreated virus inoculation.
